FD Community and Sustainability Hub

The FD Community & Sustainability Hub is a place for colleagues to meet, contribute to a freecycle initiative and get advice on topics such as sustainable living, healthy lifestyles and managing finances, as we navigate cost of living challenges.

It has been designed and developed by FD staff for FD staff.

Where and when

The Hub is located in Room 9.64A in the E.C Stoner Building. Please check back here for upcoming opening times.

Directions: Enter EC Stoner at Staircase 3 and use the lift or staircase to go to Level 9. The room is directly opposite the stairs to the left of the lift.

Freecycle

A freecycle initiative is hosted in the Hub to help us all play a role in reducing waste and supporting sustainability initiatives.

All FD staff are welcome to donate items that they no longer want but which are suitable for re-use. You don’t need to bring an item to choose an item to take away with you.

You can bring items to the Hub or to donation points at The Edge (Reception); FD Building (Reception); Cleaning Services, 28 University Road; Storm Jameson Reception at Charles Morris Hall, or Print and Mail Reception, Level 6 in Roger Stevens.
